Our Objectives
EMDEF aims to use education as a transformative tool to improve the lives of individuals. It suggests that by providing high-quality education, individuals can acquire the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to change their circumstances and pursue better opportunities. Education is seen as a powerful tool for personal development, empowerment, and socio-economic mobility.
focuses on enhancing the availability and quality of water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services in schools, health facilities, and communities that lack adequate access. By improving access to clean water, proper sanitation facilities, and hygiene education, this objective aims to enhance the overall health, well-being, and productivity of individuals, particularly in underserved areas. It also contributes to reducing the spread of waterborne diseases and improving overall quality of life.
EMDEF aims to empower youth and women by providing them with vocational skills and training. By acquiring these skills, individuals can enhance their employability and economic independence, ultimately leading to self-reliance. This objective recognizes the importance of equipping marginalized groups with the tools they need to access sustainable livelihoods, contributing to their personal and economic development.
EMDEF seeks to improve access to information and services related to Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), HIV/AIDS, Mental Health, and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) for youth and women. By increasing access to accurate information and appropriate services, this objective aims to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health and well-being. It also seeks to address issues of stigma, discrimination, and lack of awareness surrounding these topics, ultimately promoting better health outcomes and reducing the prevalence of these issues in communities.
